A real champion who won the palm of best liquor herbs in the world in the 2018 edition of the World's Drink Awards, the prestigious international stage where the best of the world's beverage competes. Bitter Jefferson comes from Calabria and comes from an ancient recipe created in 1871 by a singular and fascinating character, Captain Jefferson, who survived the shipwreck in the waters between Paola and Tropea and found refuge in the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale, where he had his enlightenment: the use of a mix of botanical herbs and spices of that land to give life to the recipe of a unique amaro e natural . The freshness of the raw material, harvested in bloom and processed as it once was, translates into the high quality of Amaro Jefferson, whose Mediterranean taste can be appreciated at room temperature or cold, but also when mixed for the preparation of original cocktails.
Intense amber color and strong impact on the nose, with notes of gentian, rosemary, oregano and citrus nuances that give way to sensations of sweet spices in the background. Soft, smooth on the palate, well balanced, with a herbal finish.
